David Goss
Co-Managing Director, New York
David Goss is the co-managing director of UOB Global Capital. David has held senior executive positions with asset management and financial service companies in New York and Sydney, Australia. Prior to co-founding UOB Global Capital in 1998, he was President and CEO of AIG Asset Management Services in New York with global responsibility for AIG’s third party asset management activities. He was a member of AIG’s commitment committee and chairman of a number of AIG investment vehicles including mutual funds, private equity and direct investment funds. Before joining AIG, he was global marketing director for Equitilink, Australia’s largest independent asset management company. He holds a BA in Law and Economics and an LL.B. from the University of Witwatersrand.
Michael Landau
Co-Managing Director, Paris
Michael Landau is the co-managing director of UOB Global Capital. Michael has held various senior roles with asset management and investment banking firms in New York, London and Paris. Prior to co-founding UOB Global Capital in 1998, he was managing director in the AIG Global Investment Group in Paris, responsible for AIG’s third party asset management activities in Europe and the Middle East. He joined the AIG group in 1991 and was chief investment officer for the insurance companies in both Western and Eastern Europe. He was a member of the AIG commitment committee and a board member of a number of AIG and third party investment vehicles in Europe including mutual, real estate and private equity funds. Prior to joining AIG he was president of Link Capital Group in New York, and had held positions with Tendler Beretz Associates. He commenced his career with Shearson Lehman where he was a vice president in the investment banking division. He holds a BA degree from Hamilton College and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Howard Berkenfeld
Principal, New York
Howard Berkenfeld has been a Principal of UOB Global Capital since its inception. He is involved in product, sales and marketing strategy worldwide. Previously, he was Vice President of Global Marketing for AIG Asset Management Services. Prior to that, he was head of Marketing Services at AIG Asset Management Inc., which focused on the US institutional market. Earlier experience includes positions at James Capel Inc. (now HSBC Securities) and Salomon Inc. Howard Berkenfeld holds an MBA from Baruch College, and received a BS degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
Peter Landau
Principal, New York
Peter Landau is a principal of UOB Global Capital working out of the New York office. He is involved in product, sales and marketing strategy worldwide. Previously, Peter was a Senior Vice President at Sands Brothers and Company where he worked developing and maintaining a client base of institutions as well as high net worth individuals. Peter’s expertise ranges through both equities and fixed income including alternative investments. Prior to that, Peter held positions in both New York and London as a VP of Institutional Fixed Income Sales at Swiss Banking Corp, as well as senior sales positions at Drexel Burnham, Dean Witter Reynolds, Bear Stearns & Co and Prudential Bache Securities. Peter Landau holds a BA degree in Economics from The School of International Service at The American University in Washington D.C.
Hugues Cohen
Director, Paris
Hugues Cohen is a Director of UOB Global Capital based in Paris. He is involved in product sales and marketing. Hugues joined the firm in 2007. Previously he was in Sales and Marketing at Societe Generale Asset Management providing European coverage for Family Offices and Asset and Wealth Managers. Prior to that he held various positions at Olympia Group of Companies, Tradelink LLC, Villaret Corporation and Credit Agricole. He holds a Masters Degree and a Post Graduate Degree in Financial and Commodity Market from University Paris IX Dauphine.
Arnaud Lantin
Director, Paris
Arnaud Lantin is a Director of UOB Global Capital based in Paris. He is involved in product, sales and marketing strategy worldwide with a European and Middle Eastern focus. Previously, Arnaud held various senior positions in Audit and Transactions Services at KPMG as well as in Corporate Finance, Sales and Mergers & Acquisitions at Sodexo. Prior to joining UOB Global Capital, he was as Senior Banker at Crédit Agricole Indosuez Wealth Management. Arnaud Lantin holds a BA degree in Economics and Finance from The University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and a Masters Degree in Investment and Wealth Management from the University of Clermont Ferrand.
Pascal Viornery
Executive Director, UOB | Global Capital – Singapore
Pascal Viornery is an Executive Director with the Global Capital department of UOB Limited in Singapore. He is involved in product, sales and marketing strategy worldwide. Previously, he was President and CEO of Crédit Agricole Indosuez Securities in New York, a broker-dealer he headed since its inception in 1989. Prior to that, he has held various positions in the investment and corporate banking departments at Crédit Agricole, Banque Paribas and Banque Vernes in Paris. He graduated from ESSEC Graduate School of Management in Paris.
Alexander Loh
Director, UOB | Global Capital – Singapore
Alexander Loh is a Director with the Global Capital department of UOB Limited in Singapore. He is involved with sales and marketing in the Asia region. Previously, he was the Commercial Business Center Head of Melaka in UOB Malaysia. He has over 11 years of client coverage and financing experience across various industries, including real estate developments, large scale solar projects, factory expansions and supply chain solutions. Prior to his tenure in UOB, he has held different roles within wholesale banking in HSBC. Before joining the financial sector, he was an engineer with Gamuda Berhad, one of Malaysia’s largest infrastructure and construction company. Alexander holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons) from Multimedia University and a Chartered Banker qualification jointly awarded by Chartered Banker Institution and Asian Institute of Chartered Banker. He is also a CFA charter holder.
